Seems to charge batteries accurate, love the display
I will confess that I struggled with a no-name charger for way too long. It would only “see†the battery about half the time, and even then, the green “charged†indicator would just lie to me. Again, about half the time, a supposedly fully charged battery would actually be almost dead. The Xtar VC2 is a breath of fresh air by comparison! Sees every battery every time, reliably charges them to 100%, and looks cool doing it!

It's easy to use and it just works. Prevents overcharging. The only thing I wish it had would be a simpler readout how charged the battery is, in percentages.

I have yet to use it, I must get the batteries that go with it first. I am positive it will work wonderfully.

The charger's screen is a fantastic tool to measure the performance of your cells and gives accurate readings to voltage and Ah. One star lost only because with being affordable comes the cheapness. The clips are squeeky and rigid to pull. However, great charger and would recommend to a friend.
This is a good little battery charger. It shows how many maH your batteries charge during the session, which is super nice. If you run your batteries down to zero, then you can see how much actual charge they can hold. My only complaint is that a usb power adapter is not included -- you must supply your own. (But then again, this is probably why this unit is so inexpensive.) The body of the charger does not get hot at all during charging, but I have not tested my supplied power adapter. All in all, if you have a spare USB phone charger base, then this charger is a no-brainer. If you don't, factor that into the overall cost. Would purchase again.

Its a nice charger but having to use a mico usb charging cord sucks maybe I didnt see that part in tha description...Prongs to plug into a wall outlet would have been a lot better...

Love the products and pricing
Stepping up to the VC2 from my other charger that only gave me a percentage value of the current charge state, was a very good decision. With all the info the charger displays, I'm able to now judge when my batteries are nearing their life cycle. I can see the voltage they are at when charging begins, and at the end. The brilliant back-light, the accuracy, and the conveniantly small package... this was a no-brainer purchase decision. Whenever I have the need to charge more than two batteries at the same time, I'll be getting the big brother, the VC4. The VC2 is an excellent charger. Do your research on it from online videos and blogs, you'll se that many agree. If this is a charger you are considering, don't hesitate, get one.
