- Protection Circuit Limitations: While the protection circuit provides additional safety, it cannot prevent damage caused by misuse, including exposure to liquids, extreme heat, or physical damage.
- Storage & Transport: Always store batteries in protective cases to prevent accidental contact with metal objects (e.g., keys, coins, tools) that can cause a short circuit. Do not store loose batteries in pockets, bags, or other uncontrolled environments.
- Inspection: Do not use if the battery is dented, leaking, bulging, or if the outer wrapper or button top is damaged.
- Charging: Use a smart charger specifically designed for button top protected batteries. Do not exceed the battery's voltage and current specifications. Never leave the battery unattended while charging.
