Wide Temperature Operation: Designed to perform in a variety of environments.
Compact and Powerful: High energy density in a space-efficient 20700 size.
Overview
The Sanyo NCR20700B is a high-capacity 20700 lithium-ion battery designed for applications that require reliable, long-lasting energy. With a typical capacity of 4250mAh and a steady 15A continuous discharge rating, this flat top, unprotected cell delivers dependable performance. Its efficient charging profile and durable design make it well suited for demanding power systems.
Improper handling or misuse of this lithium-ion battery can result in
FIRE, EXPLOSION, or THERMAL RUNAWAY,
causing personal injury, property damage, or death. Users must read and
follow all safety guidelines before purchase and use.

Critical Warning: Never carry loose batteries in your pocket,
purse, or bag. Loose batteries can come into contact with metal objects like
keys or coins, causing a short circuit, which may result in severe burns, fire,
or explosion. Always store or transport batteries in a protective case or box.
Intended Use: This battery is designed for integration into
protected battery packs with a
Battery Management System (BMS) or
Protection Circuit Board (PCB). It is not intended for standalone
use or use in devices such as e-cigarettes or vaporizers.
What is Thermal Runaway?
A dangerous chain reaction where heat generated by a failing battery causes
it to overheat further, potentially leading to fire or explosion.
Causes: Overcharging, short circuits, physical damage, or exposure to high temperatures.
Prevention: Use a smart charger, avoid physical damage, and
store batteries in a cool, dry place.
Storage & Transport: Always store batteries in protective cases
or boxes to prevent accidental contact with metal objects. Never store loose
batteries in pockets, purses, bags, or near conductive materials.
Inspection: Do not use if the PVC wrapper,
terminal insulator, or casing is damaged, dented,
leaking, or bulging. These are signs of internal damage or instability, and
continued use could result in failure, fire, or explosion.
Charging: Use a smart charger designed specifically
for lithium-ion batteries and ensure that the charger's voltage matches the battery's
specifications. Never overcharge, over-discharge, or leave unattended while charging.
Prohibited Activities: Do not short circuit, modify, puncture, crush,
expose to liquids, or solder directly onto the battery (spot weld only).
Emergency Response: If a cell shows signs of thermal runaway (smoke, swelling, hissing, or heat), stop use immediately and, if it can be done safely, move it to a non-flammable surface (e.g., concrete or sand) away from combustibles. Lithium-ion cell fires are Class B fires — use an ABC/dry-chemical extinguisher, or douse with large amounts of water to cool the cell and prevent spread. Do not rely on a small spray; thorough cooling is required, and cells can reignite from residual heat, so monitor the area afterward. (Class D extinguishers are for lithium-metal batteries, not lithium-ion.) For any fire beyond a single small cell, evacuate and call emergency services.

Batteries exactly as described, very well packaged and shipped promptly. Brought my DeWalt 6AH 20V battery pack back to life!
I haven't been able to test the batteries out as many times as I'd like but so far they seem to be doing good for the purpose I am using them for. Hopefully they'll last through multiple charge/discharges unlike the batteries they replaced.
These batteries worked great in a rebuild/upgrade of a pack that originally used Samsung 30Q cells. I was impressed that they all had the same voltage within 0.02v right around the nominal range at 3.5
These are solid batteries but noticed they have slightly weakened over the weeks one worse then the other. Sure they would do well in a dual battery mod but mine is a single. Just ordered a set of the NCR20700A since they are rated at 30A draw.
I've had many types and brands of batteries since ive been vaping, and the Sanyos are some of the strongest long lasting batteries I've come across yet...highly recommend
These batteries are absolutely awesome, it took a while to charge them but they lasted forever in my iJoy Captain mod way longer than the iJoy 20700 batteries that came with.
Tested these from 4.2 volts to 2.5 volts and got over 4150 MAH at 1 amp discharge.
Going to use 6 of them for 12 volt heated clothing to give a little more capacity then 6 18650 cells. About 23% more capacity over the 3500 MAH 18650 cells.
Rated 15A. Mooch rated them 16A. Good battery if used within its limits. Long lasting and very reliable with 4000mah. If you vape and stay under the 16A, you have a batt that will last long and does the job. If you need a battery with higher limits of 30A, I suggest going with the Ijoys or Efest. I use the Ijoys and Efest in my VC XXX as they are rated 30A and hit harder on the mech mod. Note for the 30A, you give up 1000mah as the Efest and Ijoys are 3000mah. All 3 are great for regulated mods as long as you stay in the limits.
Good batteries for an unregulated parallel box mod. Last longer than any other 18650 cell I own. They don't even get warm after heavy use. That's sharing the amp load between the two. I would't use them in series, or a single cell mod due to low amp limit.
