What is Thermal Runaway?
- A dangerous chain reaction where heat generated by a failing battery causes it to overheat further, potentially leading to fire or explosion.
- Causes: Overcharging, short circuits, physical damage, or exposure to high temperatures.
- Prevention: Use a smart charger, avoid physical damage, and store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Storage & Transport: Always store batteries in protective cases or boxes to prevent accidental contact with metal objects. Never store loose batteries in pockets, purses, bags, or near conductive materials.
- Inspection: Do not use if the PVC wrapper, terminal insulator, or casing is damaged, dented, leaking, or bulging. These are signs of internal damage or instability, and continued use could result in failure, fire, or explosion.
- Charging: Use a smart charger designed specifically for lithium-ion batteries and ensure that the charger's voltage matches the battery's specifications. Never overcharge, over-discharge, or leave unattended while charging.
- Prohibited Activities: Do not short circuit, modify, puncture, crush, expose to liquids, or solder directly onto the battery (spot weld only).
- Emergency Response: If a cell shows signs of thermal runaway (smoke, swelling, hissing, or heat), stop use immediately and, if it can be done safely, move it to a non-flammable surface (e.g., concrete or sand) away from combustibles. Lithium-ion cell fires are Class B fires — use an ABC/dry-chemical extinguisher, or douse with large amounts of water to cool the cell and prevent spread. Do not rely on a small spray; thorough cooling is required, and cells can reignite from residual heat, so monitor the area afterward. (Class D extinguishers are for lithium-metal batteries, not lithium-ion.) For any fire beyond a single small cell, evacuate and call emergency services.

Great product fit and worked as expected. Great value.
They are real Samsung products, which is very important. They do take a bit too long to get due to snail ground shipping and are a bit more costly from a top competitor. But a good, honest company to deal with. Don't be discouraged. Just order way ahead of time if you know your projects are coming up.

Tested out at 3535mah in discharge and 3541mah in charge mode on a Lii-M4S. Some 35E batteries that I bought from CHINA didn`t even test half of their mah rating. Had SAMSUNG stamped on the side of them but I have my doubts about that.

I use these for my flashlights and I'm not worried about maximum output so these batteries are perfect since I had some 3000mah I was using and I get a noticeable increase in my runtimes.
Bought this for my wireless doorbell and was an exact replacement. Works well but thought it would last longer before needing recharging. Recommend for the price.

The q35 batteries are great. They seem to last longer than the q30 batteries but definitely are a bit heavier. That being said the fact that I get about 48 hours of use from them is great!
I was helped selecting the correct replacement battery for my power screw driver. It as delivered on time, required some soldering then installed, charged and works as it should. Thanks to the IMR team.

The Samsung 35E 8A batteries are great for longevity and I trust the brand. Not for high-amp requirements, so be sure to check the specs of your device before purchasing any lithium ion batteries. As always, great service from IMR. My only go-to source.
I will admit I purchased three of these cells for rotating use in a lower power Vape Mod that I have. I should have done more research as the 3500 mAh is only part of the equation. These cells are perfect for use in my rechargeable flashlight and last exponentially longer than I could have asked. Unfortunately they will not be safe long term in my Mod and should generally not be purchased for this purpose. They also arrived WAY faster than I could have expected. Didn't check the origin of the shipment but it arrived to USA, AZ very fast. In conclusion, totally worth purchasing just ensure they will fit you usage pattern.
This is the second time I ordered 8 of these batteries for my vapes. They last a long time (more than 24 hours) and have been for over 2 years. I highly recommend them.
I tested these batteries with an integrated Internal Resistance/Load Capacity tester and they tested good. I also tested the mAh rating with a resistive load of 0.8A and was in spec.The internal resistance was a few percent higher than the spec I had but within the expected range ( I don't remember the number). I believe I received the batteries as advertised by IMR.
They work as intended. This battery is recommended for the Lumintop GT Mini and so far has operated flawless with this battery.
