Critical Warning: Never carry loose batteries in your pocket,
purse, or bag. Loose batteries can come into contact with metal objects like
keys or coins, causing a short circuit, which may result in severe burns, fire,
or explosion. Always store or transport batteries in a protective case or box.
Intended Use: This battery is designed for integration into
protected battery packs with a
Battery Management System (BMS) or
Protection Circuit Board (PCB). It is not intended for standalone
use or use in devices such as e-cigarettes or vaporizers.
What is Thermal Runaway?
A dangerous chain reaction where heat generated by a failing battery causes
it to overheat further, potentially leading to fire or explosion.
Causes: Overcharging, short circuits, physical damage, or exposure to high temperatures.
Prevention: Use a smart charger, avoid physical damage, and
store batteries in a cool, dry place.
Storage & Transport: Always store batteries in protective cases
or boxes to prevent accidental contact with metal objects. Never store loose
batteries in pockets, purses, bags, or near conductive materials.
Inspection: Do not use if the PVC wrapper,
terminal insulator, or casing is damaged, dented,
leaking, or bulging. These are signs of internal damage or instability, and
continued use could result in failure, fire, or explosion.
Charging: Use a smart charger designed specifically
for lithium-ion batteries and ensure that the charger's voltage matches the battery's
specifications. Never overcharge, over-discharge, or leave unattended while charging.
Prohibited Activities: Do not short circuit, modify, puncture, crush,
expose to liquids, or solder directly onto the battery (spot weld only).
Emergency Response: If a cell shows signs of thermal runaway (smoke, swelling, hissing, or heat), stop use immediately and, if it can be done safely, move it to a non-flammable surface (e.g., concrete or sand) away from combustibles. Lithium-ion cell fires are Class B fires — use an ABC/dry-chemical extinguisher, or douse with large amounts of water to cool the cell and prevent spread. Do not rely on a small spray; thorough cooling is required, and cells can reignite from residual heat, so monitor the area afterward. (Class D extinguishers are for lithium-metal batteries, not lithium-ion.) For any fire beyond a single small cell, evacuate and call emergency services.

Shipping and handling is always 5 stars in my book. The batteries are packed well and IMR places the batteries in protective cases.
As far as the Molicel P30B 18650 goes I really haven't had them long enough to really give an opinion. They seem to stay charged over 50% after running them in my Thelema Quest dual battery. Im running at 55w with hard boost. The Molicel P26A were my favorites but I figure id give these a try. Prices at IMR are always competitive and I can trust they aren't selling counterfeits.
These were not nearly as powerful as reviews led me to believe. I’m gonna have to purchase yet another new battery for my vape mod (since IMRbatteries do NOT accept returns or exchanges).
Less quality batteries at vape shops are the same price as ordering these higher quality molicels with shipping so you might as well go for the best took longer than I expected to get here but genuinely happy with this purchase and will purchase again from IMR
I ordered 6 of these batteries and I received them in 3 clear plastic cases that hold 2 batteries each. They ship at low battery life so I did need to charge them which is fine. I bought these to power my Lumentop e21c flashlight and my POTV Lobo dry herb vape. I haven't had any issues and it's nice that I got free plastic cases.
Replaced cheaper batteries in solar motion lights that weren't staying on all night.. with these p30b cells. I'm happy so far. I just ordered more to swap the rest of my lights around the yard.
I’m really liking the Molicell batteries so far they give me plenty of power for my mechanical device so I would definitely recommend. I’m not sure where I got the battery holder from but it is also a great thing for on the go storage
The charger was quick and efficient working Exactly how it should. The batteries didn't last as long as I would have hoped. But still a very good product.
These cells are perfect for drill batteries. Definitely better than the stock cells they build the packs with. Great price and large capacity. Easily extended the life of many power tool batteries with these Molicel cells. IMR also does a fantastic job of safely shipping any cells you order. Plus a little plastic case if you order 2 or more

I purchased 8 of these Molicel P30-B's. While 6 of the batteries are great and last a long time, unfortunately it does seem 2 of the batteries come degraded as they charge fine, but lose power significantly faster than the others. This seems to be a rare occurrence as I've purchased many Molicel batteries from IMR in the past and have never have any troubles. Molicel and IMR are really the only way to go when you need rechargeable batteries.
Great battery life, rapid charging, consistent voltage until the final click. My order was delayed on shipping which was disappointing to receive them after a weekend wait but they're solid performers and worth the price.
18650 batteries are getting lost in a very confusing space online ( I am looking at you, Amazon). Quality is the standard to look for and also what is lacking when pursuing no-name brands online. That is not the case here. Solid batteries from a solid reseller. I couldn't ask for a better product.
