Overview
The LG MJ1 18650 battery is built for applications where long-lasting power and reliability matter most. Featuring a high 3500mAh capacity and a stable 10A continuous discharge rating, this cell delivers dependable energy output, making it an excellent choice for systems that demand efficiency and extended operating time.
Improper handling or misuse of this lithium-ion battery can result in
FIRE, EXPLOSION, or THERMAL RUNAWAY,
causing personal injury, property damage, or death. Users must read and
follow all safety guidelines before purchase and use.

Critical Warning: Never carry loose batteries in your pocket,
purse, or bag. Loose batteries can come into contact with metal objects like
keys or coins, causing a short circuit, which may result in severe burns, fire,
or explosion. Always store or transport batteries in a protective case or box.
Intended Use: This battery is designed for integration into
protected battery packs with a
Battery Management System (BMS) or
Protection Circuit Board (PCB). It is not intended for standalone
use or use in devices such as e-cigarettes or vaporizers.
What is Thermal Runaway?
A dangerous chain reaction where heat generated by a failing battery causes
it to overheat further, potentially leading to fire or explosion.
Causes: Overcharging, short circuits, physical damage, or exposure to high temperatures.
Prevention: Use a smart charger, avoid physical damage, and
store batteries in a cool, dry place.
Storage & Transport: Always store batteries in protective cases
or boxes to prevent accidental contact with metal objects. Never store loose
batteries in pockets, purses, bags, or near conductive materials.
Inspection: Do not use if the PVC wrapper,
terminal insulator, or casing is damaged, dented,
leaking, or bulging. These are signs of internal damage or instability, and
continued use could result in failure, fire, or explosion.
Charging: Use a smart charger designed specifically
for lithium-ion batteries and ensure that the charger's voltage matches the battery's
specifications. Never overcharge, over-discharge, or leave unattended while charging.
Prohibited Activities: Do not short circuit, modify, puncture, crush,
expose to liquids, or solder directly onto the battery (spot weld only).
Emergency Response: If a cell shows signs of thermal runaway (smoke, swelling, hissing, or heat), stop use immediately and, if it can be done safely, move it to a non-flammable surface (e.g., concrete or sand) away from combustibles. Lithium-ion cell fires are Class B fires — use an ABC/dry-chemical extinguisher, or douse with large amounts of water to cool the cell and prevent spread. Do not rely on a small spray; thorough cooling is required, and cells can reignite from residual heat, so monitor the area afterward. (Class D extinguishers are for lithium-metal batteries, not lithium-ion.) For any fire beyond a single small cell, evacuate and call emergency services.

Used the batteries for an off grid communications repeater. Holding strong in the triple digits temp. Quick turnaround from order to received. Will order again in the future.
This battery is last super long. I bought these battery for replacing my old Medicool Pro Power 35k portable’s battery. After, I replaced them with these new battery, the tool work all days long and lasting in 10 days without recharge if compare to the previous battery from the tool when I bought it brand new , they last almost 4 days longer. It’s impressing, I will buy these battery again for backup and for another tool when it’s need to replace.
Everything were great and I am happy when I bought the battery from IMRbattery.
Thank you again .
Idk if it's my device or the batteries, but they are only lasting about a week or so in my "ring" type of camera. The camera is very low traffic and only recording 1 or 2 short events per day. I have several other battery camera devices that last several months before needing recharging. The batteries do work, and are slightly higher mAh than the original batteries, but I guess I was expecting longer times between recharges.
Why do you include plastic cases and paper boxes used to store the batteries that you ship. I'm sure there's a cost for these extra items.
In the future, since I build battery packs as soon as I recieve the batteries, is it possible to order the batteries at a lesser cost without the cases and paper box coverings?
I bought 6 for use in a long range rc plane. Initially I thought the price ($2.99 per cell on clearance) was too good to be true so I did a bunch of research because I didn't want to get ripped off but everyone on reddit said Imrbatteries was legit so I bought some, not knowing what to expect. It took a week to arrive in Oregon from Texas and I was impressed with the packaging. Battery containers in boxes and some imr wraps and a sticker. The cells looked good and came at ~3.54v per cell. I did some rough capacity testing and came out with about 3300mah. Not the full rated capacity but I assume they're on clearance because they've been sitting in a warehouse for a while and have degraded slightly. I will do more testing but so far, these are excellent value!
First, IMRBaterries is one of those rare companies that exceeded my expectations. The batteries arrived in a small thick cardboard box with intermal dividers. The box was wrapped in multiple layes of packing paper. The 24 batteries all tested at 3.567 which is an excellent storage voltage. None had any sign of use or damage. I charged them at 0.5 Amps but also tested each by charging at 1.0 Amps for a few minutes. No heat or other problems occurred. All 24 batteries charged to the max limit of my charger = 4.160. I assembled them into a 4S2P configuration and they produced 16.59 Volts as a unit. I do highly recommend this company and the LG 3500mAh 10A batteries.
I bought 12 of these. Could tell they were brand new because all metal ends were unmarked.
Charged up two, put them (in series) on ~1/2A resistive load, and measured the Ah at 3.42 when discharged to 2.6V ea, as low as I wanted to go.
Couldn't be happier!
I use these for my flashlight. However i tried them in my vape and they have enough amperage to fire at least at 80w. Last much lknger than other batteries. A+
My wife vapes at 36 watts and they hold up great!! The last her a little over 2 days! The only gripe I have is it took 2 days before the shipped from IMR but once the shipped got it in 3 days to Ga. regular usps!!

Everything arrived on time and batteries were what I hoping they would be. Running some tests on them and they're coming out where I'd expect them to be.
