What is Thermal Runaway?
- A dangerous chain reaction where heat generated by a failing battery causes it to overheat further, potentially leading to fire or explosion.
- Causes: Overcharging, short circuits, physical damage, or exposure to high temperatures.
- Prevention: Use a smart charger, avoid physical damage, and store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Storage & Transport: Always store batteries in protective cases or boxes to prevent accidental contact with metal objects. Never store loose batteries in pockets, purses, bags, or near conductive materials.
- Inspection: Do not use if the PVC wrapper, terminal insulator, or casing is damaged, dented, leaking, or bulging. These are signs of internal damage or instability, and continued use could result in failure, fire, or explosion.
- Charging: Use a smart charger designed specifically for lithium-ion batteries and ensure that the charger's voltage matches the battery's specifications. Never overcharge, over-discharge, or leave unattended while charging.
- Prohibited Activities: Do not short circuit, modify, puncture, crush, expose to liquids, or solder directly onto the battery (spot weld only).
- Emergency Response: If a cell shows signs of thermal runaway (smoke, swelling, hissing, or heat), stop use immediately and, if it can be done safely, move it to a non-flammable surface (e.g., concrete or sand) away from combustibles. Lithium-ion cell fires are Class B fires — use an ABC/dry-chemical extinguisher, or douse with large amounts of water to cool the cell and prevent spread. Do not rely on a small spray; thorough cooling is required, and cells can reignite from residual heat, so monitor the area afterward. (Class D extinguishers are for lithium-metal batteries, not lithium-ion.) For any fire beyond a single small cell, evacuate and call emergency services.

When they arrived I put all 4 into the charger in test mode/engineer modded to see if they're as the manufacturer claims of 3500 mAH.As you all reading this can see from the pictures all 4 exceeded the 3500 mAH rating.These have surprised me outperforming the Samsung 30Q and LG as well as Panasonics that I have rated at 3200 mAH and 3500 mAH.Time will tell about durability and longevity.For those thinking about buying these do it without fear,I read the reviews and took a chance on them and don't regret it.Today I did a second test on one of them an it exceeded its first over 3500 mAH again in the high over 3600 mAH.Thank you for selling these IMR BATTERIES your saving many people alot of money as well as introducing us to another brand.All the best to you and yours. They arrived yesterday safe and sound.Now as you can see from all 4 pics of the batteries when they got done with the test charge today they all exceeded the 3500 mAH rating.To say it simply they're supposedly rated at 3500 mAH as this photo shows it far exceeds it,they all are over 3600 mAH 4.20V.These are quite impressive as of now,will see durability and longevity.These are for my bike lights rated at 3200 lumens and flashlights.These are going to get the best performance out of all of my lights.Checked them on one of my lights that are rated at 2100 to 2200 lumens and each battery in an already sun lit apt turned it into all out daylight!For those who are on the fence about buying these I read the reviews and took a chance on them and am not regretting it at all will be buying more sets soon for all my bike light battery packs that double as a power bank.Thank you IMR BATTERIES for carrying this brand,you are saving many of us lots of money as well as introducing us to another brand.All the best to all of you there.Sincerely G.G.

After receiving the 6 EVE 3500mAh batteries I wasn't as confident with these 6 as the first 4 I purchased.My neighbor from the building next to me asked me about the lights on my mountain bicycle and I told him about them and he said he was going to use a similar setup to put on his quad ATV and was looking for a power supply.So I told him about the power bank I was going to put the 6 EVE batteries and that I was going to get another set for them and since these are new and they will be kept topped off at the 3500mAh they're rated at being connected to the bikes alternator he asked if I would sell him them,so I did.My lights 2 of them are 3200,3600 lumen output depending on the quality of the batteries used,his are at 3000 lumens so everything worked out fine for us both.
They came sooner than expected and worked exactly as expected. No notes
